it hurts to stand too long.. :( other than that i dont have a chance at work to walk a lot.. after working all day it does hurt to walk. nope.. dont feel that way at all. kinda feel more protective of my body now. dont want anything to happen to me for fear of hurting baby. it is strange though to feel that way about something when you would normally do things that might hurt you.. but suddenly you dont want to do those things just in case. really weird.
Hehe, My feet looked like blocks of cheese with those cocktail weiners sticking out of them. So do we get to see the rest of you too???? I understand not wanting to show your tummy off to everyone but it will all be over soon!!!! Now you know why pregnant women move so slow and always walk around with their hands covering there tummy!! Thanx for the paper ideas too!!
yeah.. also.. if you are retaining water someone told me to drink water with fresh lemon juice in it.. apparently it flushes your kidney's so that the swelling goes down some.. so i sucked on some lemons for a bit that night and soaked my feet in ice water and put them up.. were a little better the next day but still a little puffy.
I feel for you babe. Mine looked like elephant feet. It was absolutely horrible. I am so glad that everything is going well. That bus trip must have sucked. If you are going to sit down, do it with your feet elevated on the couch our something. Do not leave them below your body (make sense) that will only cause them to swell more. The heat makes it worse. I loved flip flop shoes. They were the only things that fit. DON"T EAT SALT!!! That will cause them to swell even more. Very important. Take from a mom that had the exact same thing. Hope to see you guys soon Lesley

Does it hurt to walk at all or just to stand for long periods? I recently heard pregnancy compared to renting out your body. Do you feel like that?
